This website is the inspiration of Father Charles F. "Cloudy" Hay who is one of the central characters in each of the three novels of The Consciousness Trilogy -- Hacking Toward Consciousness, The End of Democracy and The Armageddon Choice. Who says fictional characters don't get around and maybe also speak more truth than is sometimes present in our non-fictional lives. Our desire is that this website will help unify and raise the consciousness of all those who are readers of The Consciousness Trilogy and all those who have interest in the kind of change that greater consciousness assuredly will bring. Your participation in this website is to help enliven humankind's quest for consciousness.

In the final installment of the Conscious Trilogy mankind is running out of time. Will Dawson has a 2000 year-old tooth talk to him and travels deeper into mystery of what happened in his heart when, as a young CIA officer, he first met Melissa in Afghanistan twenty years earlier. Blaine Astrid with the help of the handsome young Navajo Manuelito and his dog Ooljee escapes capture by the CIA and is putting her heart’s desire before her hacking ways.
That is until another Enneagram mystery is dropped into her lap. Aasia, a Muslim survivor of the Srebrencia rape camp, with the help of Rat and Blaine finds healing with the Sisters of the Sacred Order of Mary of Magdala.
The sudden death of the Pope brings Joe Carroll kicking and screaming out of his ivory tower into full engagement with the world as the primary blogger on www.anewpope.com. Gradually the shape of the map to greater consciousness, given in the Enneagram, becomes more and more vivid for each character.
Stories of personal love are on a collision course with humankind’s ruthless pursuit of power and personal gain at the expense of community cooperation, just as quantum biology is revealing how deeply connected we all are and proving what the mystics have always alluded to that cooperation is the key to survival and enlightenment. All along Father Hay makes sure that you, the reader, are not just along for the ride but have some skin--yes, your skin, in the game.

We are instructed by the Gospels that if we wish to enter the Kingdom of Heaven we have to do so as little children. What do children do best? They play. If we are to enter the Kingdom we have to know how to play.
Play has been found to be critical to the development of empathy. Empathy in turn is the forerunner of love. How does play get us ready to be able to love? Although there are some forms of play that are solitary almost all play involves others. Play is deeply and inherently participatory. Play gives us entry into the present moment. When we’re playing we are present.
When we are playing we can be so present and focused that our play can be a transcending experience. We can be in the world and not of the world. Play not only has the characteristics that develop empathy it has the characteristics which develop generosity. A playful environment is one where there is openness and acceptance. When we are playing we are authentic we can be ourselves because we know in the play environment we are easily forgiven. Play invites, not just the idea, but the experience of forgiveness.
Playgrounds themselves are sacred safe havens. They are not owned by anybody usually. They are a part of our collective social environment. Because they do not belong to anyone there is a deeper sense of sharing this space with everyone.
Play is also the place we get to exercise our imagination and to begin to think and feel how others might think and feel.
